Abstract: The present still picture compression method does not have the required level of institutionalization and still have something can be enhance as per compression rate, calculation, etc. This paper utilizes the strategy of H.264/MPEG-4 Advanced Video Coding to enhance still picture compression. The H.264/MPEG-4 standard guarantees much higher compression and quality contrasted with other existing standard, for example, MPEG-4 and H.263.
